New Attraction Coming to Six Flags America in 2024
Six Flags America has announced that the Great Race Antique Cars attraction will be closing permanently on September 5, 2023. The ride, which has been a part of the park since 1988, will be replaced by a new family-friendly attraction in 2024. The new attraction has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be a major addition to the park.
In addition to the closure of the Great Race Antique Cars, Six Flags America is also making a number of other changes to the park. These changes include:
- The addition of a new water slide to the Hurricane Harbor water park
- The renovation of the Chesapeake Bay Boardwalk area
- The addition of new dining options throughout the park
